Review on 🌀️ AcuRite Iris (5-in-1) Wireless Weather Station: Monitor Indoor/Outdoor Climate with Digital Display (01512M) by John Wood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Technical support is non-existent

The company that sold this product was absolutely right No complaints, it got to me and I would rate them five stars. However, the assholes at Acurite are incredible! The reason I ordered this unit was because my other one broke down after two years, it started reading 150Β° and 50Β° below zero, everything just started to fail. These idiots have decided to turn off their phones and everything on the internet including tech support questions and answers is utter nonsense. I'm having problems with the device connecting it to my phone. I use it on my ranch to keep track of my gardens and it's very important to get it working properly. I'm returning, and not through the fault of the people who did it, but the manufacturers are idiots who turned off their tech support. There are only negative complaints on the internet that nobody can reach them and there is no sentient life form on the other end of the terminal. I emailed them 3 times with no response to my questions. Or if you queue a question, it can't tell what you're asking for. I've never been so excited. I didn't write such a negative review but these guys need to re-evaluate their position in the industry because I go elsewhere and it seems like a lot of other people are doing the same. Don't buy Acurite, they don't have tech support.

Pros
  • Real-time weather: get indoor temperature and humidity, wind speed/direction, barometric pressure and precipitation straight to your home weather station
Cons
  • Some little things
