2nd update: I contacted customer service to replace my 1 gallon because the inside rusted within 3 months and I am now drinking the metal parts with water. They said contact the seller but that's not an option when 2 months have passed. As I said before I really thought this product would last at least 1 year but it only lasted 3 months. Update: Recently my 1 gallon couldn't keep my water cold for full workdays like it was before it had ice in it for days. I spoke to customer service and all they said was to fill it with ice. I used to fill it 1/3 full with ice, then 2/3 full with water and even had ice in it the next day, but now by lunchtime all the ice has melted. I've only had this product since the beginning of the summer and now school is back on track. I want this product to last at least 1 year. Keeps water cold all day in the hot summer sun. I even broke the little cap where the straw is screwed in and it has a lifetime guarantee so they sent me a new cap for free.
