The basis of the "mirror" surface isn't glass or even plastic - it's paper, thin cardboard if you want to be generous. The battery compartment hinge is very thin in thickness and width. I broke mine easily trying to open it to put batteries in. After hanging it up in the shower, and without even showering or touching it with water, the paper mirror slipped off the case (see the posted image). This revealed the material – paper, as described above – and the fact that the mirror was attached to the body with a single thin strip of double-sided tape.
