I use these brushes a lot for prepping paint, cleaning tools and for general chores. Getting these dozen packs at this price is a great deal as the brushes are strong, they have good bristle density, good stiffness and the handles are comfortable to hold while brushing. The smaller bristle bit at the tip is useful for getting into smaller crevices. These brushes have enough bristle strength compared to some of the cheaper brushes I've gotten from HF. Fewer bristles mean faster wear, especially with metal bristles (brass and stainless steel) as they bend more quickly.
