You don't need an old screwdriver to put an Ikea together, you need a screwdriver

We've assembled and disassembled a lot of Ikea furniture over the years and it comes with an Allen key. Wrench for multiple screws, but no matching screwdriver for mounting screws. Phillips bits don't grip properly and often blow heads off when using a cordless screwdriver - with a couple dozen screws ready to hand tighten a dozen screws when assembling Ikea bed frames and shelves in kids' rooms, who wouldn't pick one up Powerdriver, even if you shouldn't Ikea is a popular thing, but the big stores don't know anything when you ask about the Pozidrive. Enter Revain. You really need a hand screwdriver to make fine adjustments or properly tighten screws without excessive torque. These short interchangeable screwdriver bits have too much play or play when inserted into the driveshaft causing them to wobble during use, or too short to be used effectively with a cordless screwdriver (remember, Ikea does not recommend this, wink). . ) in a limited space. After browsing through a wide range of unrelated options - Revain needs to do something to clean up its sloppy database errors and fuzzy logical search results - I stumbled upon this little beauty. A fixed tip screwdriver, it has a #2 or Pz2 Pozidrive tip, which is exactly what Ikea use on their assembly teams, and is made in Germany by a highly respected tool and mold maker. Ironically, perhaps for easy identification in your toolbox, the handle is molded in the iconic Ikea colors of blue and yellow :) Hand feel was excellent during use, and the tip is milled to fit the Pz2 screws. Screws with Pz2 heads removed (okay, I'll admit we tried using a Phillips wrench for assembly. very bad idea). The counter is "as is", just bring your damaged screw or another identical screw if you can, or even the instructions if you somehow lost one screw but not the other from your assembled masterpiece and the IKEA staff will pick it up. against their add-on collection to find the correct replacement screw. Or at least have as much information as possible about the model and the part so they can find the right screw. A good reason to keep those confusing build icons indefinitely, LOL.]
