When you just want to look good on stage but don't care how you sound. this is a great purchase! If you're whispering, if you're talking to hundreds or thousands of people, I think it might work. However, if you're speaking at a normal or louder volume, this mic will peak and you'll struggle to handle louder moments. Even the preacher at the wedding spoke about it every fourth sentence. (It wasn't my JBL PA or Sennheiser Wireless doing weird stuff) It's just a cheaper mic that can't handle louder sounds. word to the wise.
