Review on MICHELIN Latitude Cross 235/60 R16 104H summer by Adam Woods ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

Rubber dimension 235/60 R18. Car - Volvo XC90. Prior to that, there was Conti cross contact for 3 seasons. Conti is harsh, according to reviews I chose this Michelin. Production - France. First impression: The car is running very well. Holds the road very well. Smooth rebuilding at speed - not bad enough. With a standard pressure of 2.2, road bumps are almost invisible. There is no noise up to 110-120, then it is difficult to understand - rubber or aerodynamics. On Conti, the sound of the tape recorder was already added at 60 and above. Acceleration, braking - five. Looks good, but that's subjective of course :-) BUT! With active steering, there is a strong buildup, which is really annoying at speed. This is specific to all tires with a soft sidewall, but here the effect is above average. At the same time, it does not lose the road, it does not break. At a dynamic full stop, the car does a few bounces forward / backward, and not just nods and straightens (the racks are fine, it's rubber). For myself, I found a compromise between smoothness and controllability with some increase in pressure. But maybe the tires are a bit soft for this car. In the summer I will go to a long-distance trip with a full load - I will probably add to the review if there is something different from what has already been said. Conclusion. Overall, a good tire, but next time I will not buy this one.

Pros
  • Really quiet. Soft, comfortable.
Cons
  • He doesn’t like active taxiing very much, but it sometimes takes place in our conditions .
