I bought this case because I saw my friends using the ring case and I thought it would be interesting to use it to hold the phone and support the case . Unfortunately, the ring is awkward to hold and the case doesn't look like it will protect my phone. To make matters worse, the ring mount on the back makes the case slippery and unstable when lying flat on a surface. This is exactly the opposite behavior I would want for a case designed to protect a few hundred dollar product. Do not buy.
