I installed this on my boat along with a couple of smaller Clarions and a Polk unamplified stereo. Over the weekend, I took my boat to the usual sandbar party spot off Peanut Island in South Florida. Met my neighbor on his new big expensive boat and anchored next to him. Turned on the music and immediately turned off my sound system, his first question was if I had an amplifier installed. No, normal deck. These speakers are loud and clear, definitely worth the money. Only time will tell if it can withstand the harsh conditions of saltwater.
