Review on Renogy Voyager 20A Waterproof Solar Charge Controller | 20 Amp | 12/24V Auto by Matt Vanlaere

I bought this for my sailboat and chose this particular model because it will be installed in a place where it can get wet. I connected it to a 24 volt system (2 12 volt deep cycle batteries in series + 2 12 volt solar panels in series. The unit automatically recognized 24 volts and started charging immediately. Close as instructed, attach the batteries first and then the solar panels. The display is easy to read. The only very minor improvement I would suggest is that the unit mounts flush to the mounting surface it sits on. That's great, though not enough room for cables behind it which requires routing cables underneath and then plugging in. No big deal it just means you can see about 1" of cables under the unit. I was thinking of building it with some sort of frame , but figured I could live with that All in all a great product at a very good price Good price.
