Cheap bulbs: Halogen bulbs
The protective glass at the end of the lamps broke after the lamp had heated up (10 minutes of use). It didn't shatter or anything, but made a loud popping noise as the glass bounced. I'm not sure if it was because of the manufacturer's cheap design or because I was using them in a colder room (65 degrees Fahrenheit).
