AKSONIC Bluetooth 131 Foot Transmitter Receiver TV Audio Adapter Home Stereo Receiver Car PC Player Headphone Projector Built-in DAC Amplifier 3.5mm AUX RCA Optical I/O Black (ASIN: B0924G1LPY) β Outstanding external Build quality β Comes with all adapters β Couldn't reach volume with Windows 10 β No 3.5mm jacks β No read detection for Bluetooth modes (aptX, aptX HD, SBC) β No Bluetooth stack to control Windows ( stupid connection) β Turns off after a few minutes of inactivity, requires a physical restart and re-pairing. Rating explanation: The two stars are in a way my experience with this transmitter. Their use can result in a 5-star rating. Technically, there is nothing wrong with the device. It just didn't meet my specific needs. I needed this to stream aptX HD from my PC to an aptX receive amp. It connected, but I could never get enough volume without a connection. All Windows volume controls worked at 100% (see image). Also, there is no Bluetooth stack or driver for this device. This is a dumb link that will automatically connect to any other dumb link if it's broadcasting in its range. The only way this device will work with a Windows based computer is by plugging an RCA to 3.5mm jack adapter into your computer's 3.5mm output jack or headphone output. After that, just turn it on, press the pairing sequence, and any device within range will or can connect to it. If the other device is dumb, it will automatically connect to it. Therefore, there is no way in Windows to control the use of the device as a sender because there is no driver stack. You control the sound with your computer's sound controls. It is not possible to disconnect or reconnect the device in Windows. The only connection to an AKSONIC Bluetooth device is via your computer's sound card (3.5mm speaker output). Please note that the device has no LCD or LED notifications that it is connected, sending or receiving in aptX. What really kills this device for everyone is that it turns itself off automatically when not in use. To do this, you have to physically turn it back on from the device itself and then reconnect. So if you pause your music for a few minutes, for example, it will turn itself off, meaning you'll have to turn it back on and pair again. can still use it to receive bluetooth in apt X but as a transmitter I can't use it. You may get much better results with other devices like a cell phone or Bluetooth speakers. Eventually my bluetooth amp stack gave a "driver error" when disconnecting from my amp, prompting me to remove the amp and then reconnect the amp using my PC's internal bluetooth card.
