Review on πŸ”’ Polyurethane Locking Furniture Casters for Industrial Use by Cameron Reed

Strong, wide, very high quality castors

I have a very heavy solid wood bench that I use as an entertainment center that I had to move to a truck. I noticed that the legs are compatible with the wheel set and gave them a try. The box was surprisingly heavy. These are strong, thick casters and come with enough wood or mechanical fasteners for most applications. I simply used washers and screws and screwed them directly into the wooden base of my bench. The wheels rolled beautifully over tile, carpet (with a little more effort) and over my front door into a panel van and then into my new home where I never filmed. My bench weighs several hundred pounds and has gone from impossible to easy to move. Each roller has a wide lever at the top to brake the wheel. I left them in to protect the wheel, but the braking point is quite wide and probably not needed. The wheel is smooth and fairly stiff. There was no damage after riding on many hard and uneven surfaces. The ribs and main bolt on the wheel axle feel stiff, the steel body also feels very stiff. I think they are seriously designed for heavy weight. It would be easier to have two non-rotating pulleys if you don't have two people to move your item. Four pivots make it difficult to handle something heavy on a slope. For the rest I have no complaints. These wheels made no noise and showed no signs of failure. It's not the cheapest option, but it's actually great value for something so essential.
