Review on Jet Performance 11009 JET Module by Omar Austin

Gives you a small performance boost. But see *edit*

I installed this after installing the K&N filter/intake combo on my 2011 Cruze Eco. Undoubtedly good consumption is the beginning. After that you can experiment with some other things like this module. Adding a good exhaust (Magnaflow) after the fact also helped. It added a bit of punch when you blast it through the 2500+ range, but nothing special compared to the intake. I also noticed a drop in gas mileage (duh) which is to be expected since these things usually add fuel :) When I installed the intake the gas mileage went up to around 45mpg (mostly highway). Installing a chip put it at 42-43mpg depending on how you drive. Retrofitting the exhaust didn't seem to change the mileage much. Installation is easy, just unscrew the computer (4 x 10mm hex screws), remove the center connector, reinsert it, reconnect the connector and reinsert the computer. . You can probably do this without removing the computer, but there are a couple of flimsy pins in this connector, so it's better to be safe than sorry. K&N intake and good exhaust system. Since the first two lean the air-fuel mixture, this makes sense as a supplement. (I know the car's computer compensates a bit, but it really helps!) By the way, using a mid or premium engine seems to improve performance and mileage after all these mods. I stopped at Stage 1 because it's my daily driver and I didn't want to do anything crazy with it. While this seemed to bring some modest improvements, it didn't make up for some of the issues I was having.> First, the car idled quite heavily when first started after a night's rest. It's ok, it will settle down after it warms up a bit.> The second problem didn't show up until I drove into the mountains around Asheville and Grandfather Mountain, NC. You could hear the engine (wastegate maybe?) spitting and backing up as it went up the big hills under load, which was really annoying. I removed it and both problems went away. I don't recommend it now. Better to stop only at the entrance and exit.
