I was hoping the straight through style of this connector would make installation easier. I was wrong. The CAT6 TPS signal lines were very difficult to push through the connector due to the slightly thicker insulation of the CAT6 signal lines. I generally pushed enough wires through the connector that I could later grab it with pliers and pull it through. I bought a special crimping/cutting tool that rubbed salt into the wound. Tricks to make it work include making a very clean and straight cut on the ends of the wires with a pair of scissors or metal snips, the wires are perfectly straight when plugged in and pressed firmly against each other, pulling the connector hard, slowly and slowly from the side shake it aside to thread the wires through the holes. We also tried a three-piece RJ45 connector with an equalization box. The holes for the lead wires were much larger and very easy to push through. Watch the video on You Tube beforehand.
