Review on 🎁 Limited Time Promotion Price on Keith Titanium 2-Piece Ti6017 Pot and Pan Cook Set - 2.05 L by Greg Roberts

Good light cooking set

Works very well the first time after receiving it. Very light, inexpensive, construction and design are good, the folding handles are strong, the pan sits well on the pan. Titanium is a notoriously difficult material to cook with, many people seem to recommend only using it to boil water to avoid burnt food sticking to it. However, I have been able to successfully cook steaks, hash browns, and pancakes using only a small amount of oil at a time. I've been cooking on the coals of a campfire rather than a stovetop, which may have helped heat the food evenly, and you have to be mindful of things, the difference between burning fast and not burning. Just a few notes: The capacity listed is the combined capacity of the pot and lid/pan, NOT just the pot. There are no size markings on either part, which can be useful. The pot is not very high. My GSI travel mug, sitting on a small gas can, is too big to fit in a cook set. These are little things that hardly stopped me from giving it 5 stars. I highly recommend it. You can always use a piece of aluminum as a heat spreader if you want to distribute heat more evenly or when cooking. Burning/sticking is not a design issue of the cook set itself, it is simply a fact of titanium's thermal conductivity. You'll have the same problem with any lightweight titanium camping cookware. If you like cooking in the woods and also love a lightweight backpack, get one of these.
