Review on 🎧 ATH-M50 Professional Headphones by Audio Technica by Marcus Hussain

I've owned LOTS of headphones over the years. The latter include the ATH-M50, Grado SR125i, BeyerDynamic Custom Pro One and Velodyne vTrue. The "Others" // Grado SR125i have incredible open sound BUT their open air design was unsuccessful because the sound coming from the back of each earbud was enough to distract family members in the same room trying to to concentrate on other things (work, homework, etc.). Maybe one day I'll buy myself a nice pair of Grados or open-back electrostatic headphones to use when my family isn't around. Velodyne has an impeccable reputation and we use Velodyne main, subwoofer and surround speakers in our home theater. However, I was disappointed that the mids and highs weren't as clear on the $400 vTrue headphones as they were on the ATH-M50 or Grados. from fully closed to partially open, and they reproduced the entire frequency range quite well. so I'm clearly NOT in the Beats target market; However, the Beats should be on your headphone list if your hearing drops above 1kHz and all you want to hear is "thump, thump, thump". These ATH-M50 are constantly kept and used. You sound great. The bass is solid and clean, NOT over-emphasized, with crisp mids and crisp highs. The only best headphones I've heard are the Grados, which have an incredible presence, but if I remember correctly they're not as good at low frequencies as the ATH-M50 (and I can't use an open sound unfortunately) . back Grados for the whole family :-( ). Verdict: The ATH-M50 is an *amazing* set of $$ cans - definitely better than some $300-$400 headphones I've tried. I tried the ATH - M50 primarily because of a review I read on Revain so consider it a pay-forward - TRY IT and you'll probably be happy.
