Overall I really liked these headphones so here are a few things to note: PROS: - Excellent build quality (materials used seem to be of high quality) - Excellent low end and mids and highs - Really good bass - Wide soundstage - Clear sound, not distorted - Pretty comfortable for 3-6 hours of continuous use - Amazing price CONS: - Loss of sound (to be honest I expected more isolation, but when I use it at 70% volume, everyone within 4ft of me knows exactly what I'm hearing) - They get warm after

Pros
  • The closed-back earcup design creates a superior seal for maximum isolation
Cons
  • Annoying

AMAZING headphones for $$!

I've owned LOTS of headphones over the years. The latter include the ATH-M50, Grado SR125i, BeyerDynamic Custom Pro One and Velodyne vTrue. The "Others" // Grado SR125i have incredible open sound BUT their open air design was unsuccessful because the sound coming from the back of each earbud was enough to distract family members in the same room trying to to concentrate on other things (work, homework, etc.). Maybe one day I'll buy myself a nice pair of Grados or open-back electrostaticโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Adjustable padded headband for comfort during long mixing/recording sessions
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Bought used, very satisfied.

I'm probably not a music lover enough to comment on their specs. And there are websites that publish graphic images of the sound reproduction from headphones. As for this, and my personal experience. These are over-ear headphones that have a hard leather sleeve over the ear cups. I find that after a few hours they become quite uncomfortable. But that might be one reason I bought used ones, but the fact that they don't wear out might mean they're more comfortable than a new set. My pair arrivedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Foldable design ideal for easy portability and storage
Cons
  • Appearance

Under $150 it's always M50 vs MDR 7506 - I prefer M50 only.

Purchased in late 2013, never tested as I was abroad at the time. I don't have $1,000 Denons or Audeze headphones, a turntable, or a lot of amps. It's been 2 years and I'm still going strong. For their track record, 2 years is a break-in period. During this time I have changed 2 pairs of ear pads which I also reviewed here, 1 is BrainWavz and the other is Bluecells. I prefer the latter, the former worsens the sound quality more than I would like, but at the expense of significantly moreโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Proprietary 45mm large aperture neodymium drivers
Cons
