Review on Case Logic SLRC 202 Medium Camera by Robert Aliraqi

Just too tight for my needs

I carefully read many reviews about it before ordering. I had a Case Logic backpack that worked great and I wanted to order something simpler to quickly take off my shoulder and take a picture - say on a hike, knowing I wouldn't need a whole set of lenses and gear . .Two problems that reviewers kept mentioning in this bag; 1) too small and 2) the straps are broken. So far so good with the straps - I tightened them before putting the camera in and they didn't budge. Now for size. This bag shouldn't be defined by what doesn't fit in it. A lot of things don't fit in when you have a DSLR, multiple lenses and other gear. It's not designed to store everything. This bag should be defined by how little space it leaves for what REALLY fits in it. By that I mean everything that goes in it fits in very, very neatly. The two vertical sleeves on the side can hold a regular lens, but you have to put a lot of force on them and then they will be difficult to pull out. The front flap fits some SD cards and lens tissues, that's it. The camera hanging zone isn't a bad idea, but if you store the lens hood backwards on the lens when not in use, like many do, the lens hood won't go through the mount/loop latch. just too small for me - if it were 20% bigger I would be happy.
