Description of Case Logic SLRC 202 Medium Camera

Compatible with most SLRs with a zoom lens. Patent pending hammock system suspends your SLR above the bottom of case, providing superior impact protection. Memory foam on interior helps protect your delicate LCD screen. Two large side compartments store additional lenses and accessories (compartment dimensions 6" x 4" x 3.5"). Zippered compartments on front and rear of case stores memory cards, batteries, cords and other small accessories. Water-proof EVA base withstands the elements and allows the case to stand up on its own. Removable, padded shoulder strap.

Good bag, easy to carry, plenty of space.

I've reviewed many bags that claimed to have lots of extra pockets for storage but none of them, except this one, actually had a pocket big enough for sunglasses or an iPhone. For real? What did you think you would put in there? The battery and memory card fit in almost every small slot! However, this bag is a bit larger, but it fits everything and more, so you don't have to carry bulging pockets or another bag while sightseeing. The strap inside holds my Cannon DSLR well with my 18-200 zoom…

Pretty good value for money

This housing was purchased to house a Sony Alpha 7 R III mirrorless camera with a 24-105mm telephoto lens. The fit was good and the velcro closure in the main compartment worked well to keep shocks to a minimum during our extended 15 day trip to Antarctica where the case was everywhere. Auxiliary pocket storage was adequate but a bit cramped. Overall protection is pretty good, but not recommended if you're going to be in a humid environment. The case isn't advertised as waterproof and only…

Excellent camera bag, fits camera bags

Excellent camera bag, I recommend. I use for my Pentax K-S2 and can assemble a camera body with lens, 2 extra lenses, charger and lens hood along with various papers, spare battery etc. Pros: Protects + Base is waterproof so can stand in moisture or grass (Note: the whole case is not waterproof, just the base) + Lens cases in side pockets + Well made, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. lens in one, but not much larger, width is a big issue) - not exactly a "day bag" for hiking but great for taking…

The side pockets are a waste of time.

Buy this and the Lowepro, ended up not working for my mirrorless camera either. The main body of this bag can hold a camera with a long lens or a camera with a short lens on the body and a short lens on the side. Два боковых кармана - это шутка, если бы они были немного шире, они могли бы вместить больше линз или что-то с окружностью линзы, вместо этого у вас есть форма полукруга с каждой стороны, вы можете бросить странности, такие как кабели , аккумуляторы и Phone. They should have at least…

If only it were a little bit more. (Updated)

I would give this bag a higher rating but I was a little surprised at its small size. My Nikon D7000 barely fits in, but only when I remove the camera's neck strap, and the side pockets are perfect for my smaller zoom lenses without their curtains. However, it is well constructed, durable and lightweight; the design is very appealing; and there's plenty of room for things like extra memory cards and batteries. I'm keeping it as I'm considering a mirrorless system that fits nicely in this bag…

Superb build quality: Camera Cases

This case was purchased for the NIKON P900 Superzoom Fixed Lens. This NIKON has a body size comparable to a full-featured DSL like the Canon 7D. The sling is not very suitable for my P900. If you lower the strap far enough to leave room for your body, the camera is off-center and won't fit well in your bag. The lens hole in the strap is also very narrow on the P900. So for use with this NIKON I have to use a case without a strap. The camera only fits lens down as the pocket tapers from top to…

Just too tight for my needs

I carefully read many reviews about it before ordering. I had a Case Logic backpack that worked great and I wanted to order something simpler to quickly take off my shoulder and take a picture - say on a hike, knowing I wouldn't need a whole set of lenses and gear . .Two problems that reviewers kept mentioning in this bag; 1) too small and 2) the straps are broken. So far so good with the straps - I tightened them before putting the camera in and they didn't budge. Now for size. This bag…

Good quality - slightly less than expected

My 4 star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I really like the features built into the bag including the camera strap, molded plastic base, padding etc. I will say my Canon 70D barely fits in and there is no room on the side except to tuck the strap neatly. Side pockets fit my 18-55mm and 55-250 lenses (1 in each pocket) but otherwise no room for flash, charger etc. Short day trip but need a 20% bag or so more with me carrying around a few other accessories I have, not to

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Everything great

WARNING: This was the perfect case. Not yet.

I have owned this case for over three years now. I loved it every minute, recommended it to many friends and was very happy with it. Until this year. PROBLEM: In this case, the foam padding starts to crack after a few years. At first I thought nothing of it when I noticed a few tiny black dots on my camera. Then there were more and more of them and I was desperately trying to figure out why my cell was getting so dirty, although I had a little obsessive compulsive disorder to keep it spotless…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not the best
