Yes some people in other reviews may find it difficult to put on but it definitely works! There are no instructions, but read the listing and look at the images provided if necessary. My almost two year old daughter loves having a place to relax and so do I. If in doubt, just try it. You can fold the stroller with the footrest, all you have to do is make sure it is in the most upright position (see the picture for reference).
