Nice towel but not the best material. ADVANTAGES: • The fabric absorbs moisture well and is good for gradually drying hair over several hours. (if it flops). It would probably be great to just towel dry it. • Light, soft, gentle on hair. • Huge size! To be honest I have thicker curly hair that reaches my shoulders and it was massive. Plenty of room for longer hair. • An elastic loop at the back makes this Turbie Twist Hair Towel truly the best. CONS: • Easily torn. so that the towel fits snugly on the head (to avoid slipping). • Expensive for what it is – when used as directed on the packaging, the fabric and tape tore and created holes*. * After less than a week of use, the towel already had holes on both sides of the elastic on the back and the fabric the elastic was sewn into ripped (the fabric remained sewn to the elastic, but was literally torn and separated from the towel looks like two small spots on the back of the head). Luckily I can sew well enough to fix this, but had I known I probably wouldn't have gotten it. A t-shirt seems like a cheaper and smarter option for a slap. Also more durable.
