Is it as absorbent as a microfiber towel? No, that is not so. But I love him for that. I have long, textured, wavy hair and I usually style it damp rather than wet. Nice towel but not the best material. ADVANTAGES: • The fabric absorbs moisture well and is good for gradually drying hair over several hours. (if it flops). It would probably be great to just towel dry it. • Light, soft, gentle on hair. • Huge size! To be honest I have thicker curly hair that reaches my shoulders and it was massive.
