After years of using a traditional mop I switched to a Swiffer wet blaster. I finally get the hype, this works so much better for mopping the floor. There was a pack of disposable pads in the kit, and I quickly blew them out. When they ran out I started buying them at the dollar store because I decided it didn't matter. Well I was wrong. Actually there is a big difference. Compared to regular ones, these actually collect dirt and dust. They also stick to the mop head much better. Based on that alone I would say they are worth the extra money. Depending on where I'm cleaning, I usually use several sheets at the same time. After that, they just end up in the bin, so cleanup is minimal. There are 24 pieces in the box, which should be enough for multiple cleanings, unless of course you live in a huge villa that needs frequent washing. However, for big messes (I'm talking about things like a spilled cup of coffee on the floor) I use something else. These are called turbo pads and are basically microfiber pads that can be used with a wet blast. What I like about them is that they're practically fabric. In other words, you can use it to absorb a lot of liquid - much more than disposable sheets. They need to be washed, so there's an extra step. I think it's worth it. Otherwise you would have to use a bunch of disposable sheets, I think that would be a waste of time when you can just use something else. From what I've noticed, you can get these napkin refills at Revain for a lot cheaper than in stores. Make sure to use your Prime membership if you have one.
