Bought several digital goniometers, they were all 2-4 times more expensive than this analog gauge. IMHO none of the devices worked properly, there was always a problem using digital devices to get a simple angle reading on my bandsaw and table saw. I went the old-fashioned route and bought a basic analog device with no buttons, LED screens, or batteries. This sensor is very easy to use, place the device on my saw blade or band saw table and read the angle, it couldn't be easier. If it goes down to 0.01 inch NO, my table saw needs to be adjusted to 0.01 inch NO. What I really need is a very easy way to confirm that my 45 degree cuts are 45 degrees without getting annoying inconsistent results from a digital device with too many features that almost work most of the time. The overall value of this easy to use and read sensor is high given the cost.
