Review on Zhiyun Smooth-XS: Foldable Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer Selfie Stick – Perfect for Vloggers & YouTubers (Pink) by Lawrence Crespo

After overcoming the annoying requirement to ACTIVATE the device before I can use it for the first time [big disappointment because I couldn't use the stabilizer right away] But after activation I was happy with the gimbal ! I've never seen anything like it. It is very compact, easy to use and has a selfie stick extender. The selfie stick mode works well as the build quality is solid. You can even use the gimbal in advanced selfie stick mode by attaching it to the included table tripod, it's good for dance videos and it can also ACTIVELY FOLLOW you! 3-axis on large gimbals like DJI OSMO. When folded, the components "lock" together so you can easily pack it for travel. Also, I liked this feature, even if it's enabled, if a component is "locked", the gimbal is disabled. The gimbal doesn't go crazy when I mount the phone. Smooth Xs worked great on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I tested the video maker mode in the app and it was fun, see attached video. All in all, if you travel light with your smartphone, I highly recommend getting the Smooth Xs for your vacation trips where you can enjoy the ride and still snap some fun videos/photos!
