Full Disclosure. This was provided to me free of charge to test the product. I've used them before and it worked great! I haven't used the vent mount so can't comment on that. I can't say anything about the suction power in the hot southern summer either. But the few weeks I've used have been excellent. It sticks to the dashboard of my 15 Corolla with no problems. Once I adjusted my hand to get the phone in the right position, I didn't have to readjust it after a couple of weeks. I was also able to gently and cleanly remove the suction cup from the dashboard. This is a cheap and effective mount that I plan to keep and maybe use in my other cars!
