I have now bought 5 boxes of these lights. The first two boxes had great tools. Then I started getting boxes, half of which wouldn't turn on. I gave one to my husband, he played with the compound and they caught fire. Since then I've found that I often had to open the battery and play with the connection. When I put the lid back on, it often closed them, so I found I couldn't close it completely most of the time. Now I'm thinking I might try sanding the bottom edge of the battery cover so it doesn't break the connection somehow. Love the lights but dislike the work it takes to make many of them work.
