The first gave a very high SWR but the second works great. Exchange as always without problems via Revain. Channels 1 and 40 have an SWR of around 1.3, while channel 20 has an SWR of 1.0. The weather channel is also becoming clearer. This is due to the Firestik II, the 90 degree connector at the end of the transmitter and the Cobra 29 LX. The FME connector did this in about 20 minutes (including routing through the firewall grommet and replacing all the zips). Almost too easy. The weatherproof sheath is nice to the touch too, the wire itself is stiff and thick, it won't cut when fed through the panels.
