I just received the mat and it’s not at all easy to wipe clean. My small dog dropped a teeny bit of canned food on the mat where her name is written. I gently picked it up with a wet paper towel but it left a streak of stain. I then gently blotted it with a sponge and a bit of dish soap. The stain now seems permanent and the fabric is coming up. My small dog eats canned food with kibble mixed it. It’s never left a stain on her other mat. I think the mat is better suited for dogs on a kibble only diet. It’s a very cute mat, though. It’s not the end of the world but I’m bummed.
