A known problem with memory foam is that it can get warm over time. That's the only issue with this gel pad for my office chair, but it's worth mentioning up front because there are other options that are more "cooling" and very similar to this one - for the most part. If I could take the heat after sitting for a few hours (yes, I've taken a few breaks!), it would still be on my office chair. The cushioning foam is great and hasn't consistently sunk in a spot where it doesn't have that "first day feel". If you're comfortable with the warmth of memory foam, this could be a good choice for you and as such I would recommend this product.
