Problematic - Don't forget the blue wire

When I hooked it up to the new Pioneer radio the radio was awful it was almost gone. Thank goodness for other feedback and questions here on Revain. The user referred to the need to connect the blue wire (antenna power) to the wiring harness. This is REQUIRED and is not described anywhere in the documentation for the stereo system, wiring harness or antenna adapter. Why do you need a "power antenna" cable, especially when there is no corresponding cable with such a marking from the new Pioneer unit. Don't ask stupid questions. Just connect the BLUE WIRE or your reception will be FAILED. Believe me. While I haven't had a problem with reverse polarity, the connection is a bit annoying. Moving the adapter socket cuts it off. Maybe you need to change.
