Sturdy, good looking, easy to assemble, lots of storage space

I am very happy with this changing table. At first I didn't like the idea of a changing table. I thought they looked wobbly, that they were an unnecessary piece of furniture (so many blogs said they weren't needed), and I settled on a changing pad on my daughter's nursery dresser. Well, it looked gorgeous - totally Pinterest worthy - but I quickly discovered that: 1) diaper changing areas require a lot of stuff; and 2) since i sleep in our room for the first few months and not in her room, i just didn't plan to switch it often in kindergarten. So we decided to buy a changing table. I looked at different models but still came to the conclusion that they are wobbly and then came across this one. It's beautiful and durable. This is Graco, a brand I trust, and it's made of wood. (Amazing how much plastic!) It was very easy to put together. I assembled it myself in about fifteen minutes. No tools were required for this, apart from the Allen key from the equipment set. There are 16 long screws and two short screws. Other commenters noted that the parts weren't aligned properly and I had some trouble getting some of the parts together, but I just aligned them as best as I could and then inserted the screw. When I tightened the screw, the parts fit together perfectly. It was incredibly easy. I didn't have to bang any pieces together or have them fit together. It offers quite a bit of storage - I could fit a two month's supply of diapers, a dozen containers of tissues, a tissue dispenser. , a jar of triple diaper cream, a stack of cloth diapers, a change of napkins, a stack of washcloths, a jar of baby wicks, and several containers of diaper cream on the downstairs shelves. (However, I was so wrong about not needing a changing tableโ€”it takes so many things to change, and you need space for them. A separate changing table means a separate spot for diaper supplies.) I haven't replaced the changing table yet. . "It's not a thick pad - it's only about 2.5cm thick - but it's waterproof and easy to clean." I'll see how it goes before changing the gasket - as it is now it seems fine to be, but you definitely can't bet on it. I have Munchkin towels that work great for this purpose, but a thicker pillow with covers is definitely more Pinterest-worthy. (And I would remove the gap between the table and the railing.)
