Update after 1.5 years of ownership:

First impression: Surprisingly bright under my ceiling with these lamps despite the quality of the wire insulation used being as cheap as can be. Update after 1.5 years of ownership: They are installed under the body cover of my truck, so they are almost never exposed to moisture, snow, pointed objects, etc. The light is not even 20% brighter than when I first installed it. I have several burned out LEDs in each string. The manufacturer's warranty is 1 year, so it cannot be replaced. Over the past 10 years I have had various types of LED lighting for my home, vehicles, boats and these are the only ones that have faded and/or burned out like this. Would NOT buy again.
