Wow, this is a terrible product. I highly doubt this will make anyone happy. First, it takes about 30 minutes to do a lot of frustrating sleight of hand. If you have big hands, forget it, they won't fit between the ends of the star. When assembly is complete you will find that all 100 or so fasteners are highly visible and ruin the look. What you might not realize is that you can never change a lightbulb. Yes, that's right, it's essentially disposable. Of course, at this point, you'll probably breathe a sigh of relief considering the build is at least behind you. Wait, they want you to tie it to the tree with plastic ties. You need at least two, it took three for my tree. Of course, there are only 5 of these, so if the bulb doesn't burn through this season, I can't attach it to next year's tree. After connecting it, I found that the cable was too short. You are expected to use the connector very close to the top of the tree. If you're using flashlights from the last century, you may already have a connector on the end of your flashlight, but my low-power LEDs aren't that great. This irritation only lasts a few seconds as the plastic is so heavy that it cannot stand upright. Now the whole family laughed a lot about the tree pointing left instead of up, but it quickly disappeared, and when we couldn't find a way to keep it upright, we ruined the shears by cutting thick ribbons. I will request a refund.
