I'm finishing up a Sega Genesis FPGA MiSTer Case mod and I needed to make a working ethernet port where the EXT port is on the back of the Genesis. This extension cable allowed me to use hot glue, glue it in place, and easily attach it to the DE-10 Nano board that was on the other side of the Genesis case. Ethernet comes in at full speed, no problem. Love it for this custom project and would recommend for any purpose.
