When wearing a mask, the ease of use of face id is significantly reduced in comparison to the ease of use of touch id. Additionally, face id becomes quite fatigued after each time the passcode is entered in the subway or a store. Yes, I am aware that you can configure your Apple Watch to unlock your iPhone, but buying a watch solely for the sake of having one is a questionable choice.
