Installation was very easy. I decided to just install it on the countertop. The included pH test kit confirms exactly which value you choose. I used it for about a month. You really notice the difference in the water quality. When I drank bottled water, I always had to urinate because the water was never absorbed into my body. I can drink about 90 ounces of pH 9.5 water daily and feel like using it internally. I really can't say enough about this car. I bought it with money to try all the water "kangen"/ph. I'll probably buy 7 or 9 at some point to see how they compare. The car cleans itself. There is a filter, they seem to be around $50. And you need to change it about once a year. The water test is the same as my parents' $3000 Enagic machine.
