I chose it for its advanced features that allow me to customize it based on the time of day, noise and proximity. Although it comes with a remote control, it's highly recommended to download their app called Magic Home and IFTT if you don't already have one. The connection is very easy if you have a legacy 2.4Hz WiFi. Once connected to Wi-Fi and Alexa, you can use the remote, your voice, or set it to be on for a specific amount of time, proximity, or any other condition you can think of. The music sync is also another added bonus as she can dance to the music/sound which is a cool effect. Overall I really like this product and I think it has a lot going for it and would recommend it if you don't mind buying it separately from other options that include similar ones but need more control.
