. This rubber isolator was suggested. Installation is easy and works well. I use my boat on the river and lake when there is no wind. Read a few stories of them getting naked and I can see why. They are rubber after all and I've decided to buy two packs in case they wear out. For a beginner boater they work great so far. I expect to replace them in the future, update (7/16018). Pulled the boat out a few times and throttled to maximum (55lb propulsion), no problem so far. The instruction manual suggests retightening the screws after a few uses. I plan to go out again and check and tighten the bolts as needed. So far, I am very satisfied. I will update
