I use them for DIY electronic platforms and they have been excellent. Durability is good and there is a small ridge on the open end to provide extra grip. They are slightly larger but will grip when needed if installed slightly off center of the pipe. This allows you to move freely if you wish. The metal is also flexible enough to make them more versatile without being flimsy. I'm also pleased with the finished look compared to typical industrial pipe ties/clamps. Highly recommended.
