Review on Original Toy Company Fold Trampoline: Bounce into Fun with this Convenient Folding Toy by Darius Carraway

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'm not as sure of that as I used to be. Best for younger kids?

My 13 year old grew up wearing one of these (he needs lots of exercise and uses it to burn energy throughout the day). Our first lasted 5 springy years when the stitching frayed and the platform straps began to break. We bought a second one because we were very happy and because our 12 year old was over 50lbs under the advertised weight limit of 150lbs. Our second broke within the first few weeks due to a bad weld. The company provided great customer support and sent another one for my son to jump (we also bought an extension grip for him). But now, after about 16 months of use, the stitching securing the platform's straps have snapped. Now that we've lost a few straps in a week, it's time to throw them away. I didn't expect the seams to break through so soon after the warranty expired. I hate tossing this unwieldy and irreparable part into the landfill after a relatively short period of time. My son weighs a lot less than 150 pounds, but the speed with which he collapsed makes me think he might be better built for kids. below the specified weight limit. Go find him and buy him a mini trampoline for adults!
