Review on 🧽 Efficient Brush Cleaning with Silicoil's Brush Cleaning Tank by Kristen Simpson

I bought this because the idea of using a steel spiral to clean my brush seemed so amazing to me. It worked great for a week or two to clean my brushes of the standard acrylic paint I use on miniatures. However, I did notice that my brushes started to snag as I rubbed the bristles with the spool. I then cleaned the cup and took out the spool (which took a lot of effort) and found these weird spiky and rough spots on my spool that weren't there when I first got it. It was so rough the hair pulled right out of my brushes. I had to remove the coil and now it's an overpriced dishwashing bowl. You can see the calcified spots in my photo, I've circled them in red. I have good clean soft water at home, this shouldn't happen. It is clear that this is an inferior metal.
