Where to start. Physical size of the device (external): The device itself is large, the tightly attached crispy lid is a little annoying, but I understand how they had to do it. I have to be pulled out from under the closet to open it. It is best used on an island or table that lacks overhead cabinets. Device physical size (internal): Instant pot bowl is great, 8 liter capacity is nice and big. That's probably more than I really need, but good for just in case. The Airfryer part is still not as big as we would like, but it works for our family. Functions: pressure cooker/steamer/rice cooker/dehydrator/fryer (you need a deep fryer) This thing does everything and it does everything very well. I often have the desire to use it for too many things at once. The buttons are easy to use and the screen is clear. No fancy colored lights or weird settings. No multiple button presses to scroll through settings etc. Very well done. Finish: Looks sexy but the black plastic has scratches so be very careful. The keys feel solid. I hope this car will have a lot of life. Finishing (inside): Again it seems to be very well made. They seem to have quite a thick ceramic coating, but again I would suggest using plastic for the durability of the product! or silicone-coated dishes. Features: Pressure cooker: excellent! Steamer: Great! Rice Cooker: Great! Dehydrator: I haven't used it yet, but I expect it will work just as well as all the other features. Fryer: This thing is amazing. We did Carnitas the first night we had a car and it was amazing! The recipe called for it to be pressure cooked and then fried. It was wonderful! One problem I've had with pressure cookers in the past is that the food lacked texture. No crunching on the skin. Foodi solves this problem! The pork was browned and the ends were perfectly charred. Overall: It's not perfect, it's a bit big, it's a bit chunky, it's a bit noisy, but in terms of features and functionality, it's absolutely amazing! I can't explain enough why this thing is so great. As a simple example, my son wanted dino nuggets for dinner the other day and we usually cook them in the oven, they take about 30 minutes to preheat the oven and cook. I tossed them in Foodi and in 12 minutes they were done and crispy all over. I tried one and it was really really good! My son (5 years old) told me to cook them like this.
