Great looking model, although it doesn't work. Models that you need to understand, this will most likely not work or will work 100%. when completed. So I recommend buying a model that you enjoy looking at, even if it doesn't move. I suspect the problem is behind, maybe because of the casters. I've built several of these models and have about 50% success getting them to work, even with sanding and waxing. It only takes a little shifting in a gear to have enough resistance to keep the rubber band motor from unwinding. If you try to fix it by taking it apart, there's a good chance parts will break. Even if you don't have good arm strength, these parts are not easy to assemble. I always end up using pliers and a small hammer.
