Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice 2 205/50 R17 93T winter by Wiktor Jakuta ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

I live in Hong Kong. We have very light winters. Snow is rare, ice is often, but they clean it quite well and therefore there is mostly asphalt on the roads. For all my driving experience (15 years) I have only had studded winter wheels (Amyel, Yokohama, Hakapilita 8, Bridge 7000). Amtel and Yokohama are the worst of them all. So, this rubber is not inferior to those, if only the last two, in terms of patency on ice, but the Nokian on clean asphalt held very poorly as on summer tires due to the fact that there are a lot of spikes in it. In general, this rubber is the best in my opinion from what I have visited. I will not return back to the thorns, there is no Sense in them. And in the most severe case, you can always wear chains. Very quiet tires and the car is controlled very understandably and adequately on porridge and on rolled snow, and on the pavement in general the handle is crazy. The result is a super rubber I advise everyone. Wheel size 205/60r16 car Mercedes-Benz

Pros
  • Very quiet. Good handling, and on the pavement the best rubber I've ever been on. Good grip on loose snow and porridge.
Cons
  • On ice, I would like better grip.
