Review on SVS Prime Pinnacle Floorstanding Speaker in Black Ash - Individually Priced by Cyrus Wright

A full-featured audiophile speaker system in one compact package. I researched for over a year before purchasing these speakers after deciding to replace the front panel in my Dolby Atmos 11:1 home projection cinema. I tuned them with an SVS main center and a subwoofer. The subwoofer is a bit overkill, because unless you're really into low-C organ music or rumble in your movies with wall realism, the Pinnacles produce plenty of bass. They are linear, so music of all genres has a fully balanced and realistic bass. I often hear them in straight stereo for vinyl LPs and am blown away by their soundstage and realism. On my home theater system they replaced a pair of twenty year old speakers that cost $3,000 new. My budget could be higher than these speakers. I bought them because you would have to spend twice as much to make them better. I'm particularly picky about the accuracy of speech and female vocals. They reproduce absolute fidelity without excessive accents, beeps, or fuss with human voices, which some of the top-rated speakers often don't.
