So first, here's the scenario I wanted to use it for: I dug up my old Wii system that connected video and audio to an RCA composite system outputs. My study TV is the new (2018) Samsung M8 series, which has a single connection system that only allows video and audio inputs via HDMI. I needed something that would convert the old RCA video and audio output to HDMI (both sound and video). It worked very well. Both audio and video work perfectly. I thought it could zoom in on the video but it doesn't. The video is fine, close to the original 480p. The sound is good, the hum is very low, but not audible in games. I find it works well for videos on old hardware to work in the new era as well. I can definitely vouch for the Wii signal conversion.
