Hallelujah! suitable for video converter

I bought this to play my old PS2 games without a tube TV. So far it's working great! It's very easy to use. Simply plug in the USB port (included) on the back of the TV, plug in the TV's HDMI port, and then plug in the RCA connector on the input. It took me less than 2 minutes to assemble everything. Picture and sound seem completely normal to me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to play old games on modern TVs!

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works as advertised!

Works as advertised. I have an older Bose home theater system that doesn't have an HDMI output. This is typically used for 5.1 audio along with the Sony PS3 Blu-ray player. I just got a new 82" TV from Samsung that doesn't have the analog video inputs needed to use the Bose Setup app on screen. It's definitely cheaper than buying a new home theater. Suitable for me and recommended.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Very easy to use and works well

This product works perfectly. I hooked it up with a Wii and a PS2 to an RCA switcher that plugs into this box, outputs HDMI and then goes into the HDMI switcher. This product is powered by a USB hub and never fails. It is possible to switch between 720 and 1080, although the difference is very small. I haven't had the problem of not being able to convert audio yet. This product meets my needs and has not yet disappointed me. Pros: Works fine USB powered RCA to HDMI converter Small, compact size

Worked well for my purpose

So first, here's the scenario I wanted to use it for: I dug up my old Wii system that connected video and audio to an RCA composite system outputs. My study TV is the new (2018) Samsung M8 series, which has a single connection system that only allows video and audio inputs via HDMI. I needed something that would convert the old RCA video and audio output to HDMI (both sound and video). It worked very well. Both audio and video work perfectly. I thought it could zoom in on the video but it…

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Clearly bad product

Only lasted 3 months - GANA returned the money for the replacement!

We bought two of these for Wii and VCR/DVD to connect to our new HDMI receiver. Everything was great until the one on the Wii started getting strings and started jumping. When I switched the Wii to the VCR/DVD video converter everything was fine. I bought another one to replace the bad one and I hope it lasts more than 3 months. I call it one of those rare product failures and only eat $14, but if it fails again I'll have to find another solution. UPDATE 08/31/18. I saw the warranty card that…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Works out of the box Day 2 DEAD

I was happy to use this on my original XBox (RCA out) and my new projector (HDMI in). I had to unplug the charger and plug in the USB cable to turn it on. Worked like a charm right out of the box. The picture wasn't very clear, but good enough. Not sure if projecting the image onto a 120 inch screen caused the lower resolution but oh well. I got frustrated on the second day when the projector couldn't find a signal for the XBox. I didn't change the configuration BUT I left my XBox on overnight.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some little things

Retro gaming goodness!

I needed a good workaround to get my PlayStation (240p) and PlayStation 2 (480p) gaming system to work on my Samsung 4K HDTV. The new Samsung TVs don't appear to have standard A/V (i.e. component) inputs in the form of RCA component plugs. I was skeptical about this device but I'm happy to report that it works great. There is a 720p/1080p selector and the video input has been slightly improved. I wasn't looking for a scaling solution for my retro games, but I did notice a noticeable difference…

Pros
  • HDMI 1080p or 720p output support.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

I use this converter to connect our old video consoles (Nintendo 64, Wii, PS2 etc.) to the HDMI input of my 4K TV. Installation is easy. Connect the 3 RCA outputs of the console to the 3 RCA inputs of the converter. Use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect the converter to the HDMI input on your TV. Finally, use the mini USB cable (included) to power the converter. The inverter does NOT contain a power supply. But my TV had 2 USB ports on the back. I connected a USB cable to one of these…

Pros
  • Provides advanced signal processing with high fidelity, color, resolution and detail. Plug and Play
Cons
  • Female required

It works and now we can watch dozens of our old VHS movies.

I had to find a way to connect my old VHS to my new TV/surround sound system as the VHS only had a composite RCA (Red, White, Yellow) output and the receiver had an HDMI connection required to function. I doubted how these little boxes could convert the input to HDMI, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. It worked! To be honest the quality of VHS tapes is pretty pathetic compared to HDTV but we have a lot of old movies on VHS and we can watch them now. Power Supply - The…
