The ice cream in my freezer tasted awful so after some research I decided to give the fridge and freezer a light cleaning. I threw away everything that burned in the freezer, I disposed of the old garlic cloves and old cream cheese in the fridge and checked the leftovers. All shelves cleaned well. I then rinsed the ice box three times with hot water, vinegar, and dish soap. It took me so many times to get rid of the ice cream basket smell I found. Then I put it back and put one odor absorber in the freezer and one in the fridge. Within 24 hours all the residual odors I found were gone. My ice has also returned to normal. I am very happy with the result and will now always keep it in the freezer and fridge.
